Hello all!

My name is Amber Bird. I'm the CEO and founder of Best Day Ever. I have gone through times that have been so tough and didn't really understand why it was happening to me. I relied on the support of so many friends and family members that helped me get out of my darkest moments.

Sometimes all we need is for a hand to reach out and grab onto ours and say, "It's going to be okay," or simply, "I've got you." And that's what we intend to do through this nonprofit.

Everyone goes through tough moments in their lives and sometimes it seems like there's no hope or that the burden is just too heavy. That's where we want to step in and say no it's not! We want to show up for you with a helping hand, some financial support, or simply a gift that you always wanted, but didn't think you'd ever receive.

Throughout the year we want to help out as many people as we possibly can! This holiday season we're planning on bringing some joy to a local family who is going through a lot right now. They have a family member that got diagnosed with a life-altering diagnosis and this could possibly be their last Christmas together as a family. So our goal is to make it their most memorable holiday yet!

We currently have 3 gift trees up at Good Vibes Nutrition (Apple Valley, MN) & North Star Nutrition (Savage , MN). This is where any member of the public can come grab a tag from the tree, go buy the item that is on the tag, and return it to the tree (unwrapped). We will then have a gift wrapping party for the gifts to be wrapped and for the surprise drop plan to be relayed to all our wonderful volunteers!

We also are asking for donations of baskets or services for a silent auction so that we can raise more money for the family to help with their financial obligations. Silent auction is planning to take place between December 5-14th.
